What we do.

Three focus areas, one goal: healthier communities.

Health & Wellness

We take screening, treatment referrals and preventive care into the communities that need them most. Our outreach teams follow up every case, so no one is left without the care they were referred for.

  • Free medical outreach and health screenings
  • Maternal, child and family wellness support
  • Referrals and follow-up with partner facilities

Research & Education

  • Community health education and awareness campaigns
  • Research partnerships and data-led health studies
  • Scholarships and learning support for students

Testimonials.

Care that arrived when we needed it most.

The outreach team screened our whole community in two days and followed up on every referral. My mother finally received the treatment she had put off for years.

Frequently asked questions.

Where does my donation go?

Your gift funds front-line work across our three focus areas: medical outreach, health education and the training of local health workers. Programme costs always come first, and we publish a breakdown in our annual report.

How do you ensure transparency?

Every project follows a simple cycle: assess, deliver, verify and report. Spending is checked against receipts and field visits, our Board of Trustees reviews performance, and our accounts are audited each year.

Is my donation eligible for tax benefits?

This depends on where you live and pay tax. Contact us and we will confirm what applies to you and send the right receipt.

Can I support a specific program or community?

Yes. Choose Health & Wellness, Research & Education or Capacity Development when you give, or get in touch to support a particular community. We will keep you updated on that work.

What is your safeguarding policy?

Everyone who works with us completes background checks and safeguarding training. We obtain consent before taking any photo or sharing any story, and we never share personal or medical information.

Can I volunteer or partner with TBHF?

Absolutely. We welcome health professionals, volunteers, schools and organisations. Send us a message through the form below and tell us how you would like to help.
